Preparations for the gala evening are coming to a head

This year's Film Week will again be concluded with a gala evening during which the awards will be distributed to the best films of the 64th Zlín Film Festival. The award for outstanding contribution to cinema for children and youth will be presented to actor Bolek Polívka. The Closing Ceremony will be broadcast live on Czech Television on the ČT art programme from 20:15.
We already gave out two prizes yesterday. The children's jury was most impressed by Coco Farm, the youth jury's award for the best feature film for teens and young adults went to the Canadian film On Earth as in Heaven. The Golden Slipper was awarded to actress Lou Thompson, who played one of the main roles. The remaining awards will be officially presented at tomorrow's gala.
